U.S. International Media Broadcast Traffic Department : We utilize state-of-the-art technology to distribute television and radio commercials and corresponding flight instructions to stations, cable systems and national networks. But sometimes the story isn’t about technology; it’s about old-fashioned, roll-up-your-sleeves “get it done” service. A recent incident truly underscores the passion for service that we bring to our clients.
One of our large retail clients decided – on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend – that they wanted new copy to start running that Sunday on two TV stations and on 16 English-language and one Spanish-language radio station. Station weekend traffic logs are normally printed and closed on Thursday night or noon on Friday. Impossible?

Working closely with our client service and spot broadcast colleagues, we arranged for revised English-language copy to be translated by the Hispanic radio station and mixed with the new holiday music bed. We sent the new pre-recorded English-language commercial to the Anglo radio stations. We coordinated with the creative agency’s production studio to ensure timely delivery of the new television commercial to the television stations. Every station received revised traffic instructions in time to make the revision for the Sunday start date. And every station got it right.
