“Ginny” Daly’s introduction to the media business was in New York as an assistant buyer at the world’s first media buying service, which happened to be founded by a young fellow named Dennis Holt. Since then both she and Dennis have done well!
After “graduating” from her assistant position, Ginny moved on to the media department at Grey Advertising where she rose to Media Supervisor handling some of the world’s best known brands (including P&G and Revlon). Later, she built her own successful syndication company before rejoining Dennis at Western International Media (now Initiative) in 1991, where she was a top executive in New York handling accounts including AOL, Bloomingdales, Domino’s Pizza and Trump Casinos.
Her expertise in the media barter (“corporate trade”) arena led her to transfer to IPG’s Initiative Trading unit, where she developed innovative programs for clients including Baskin-Robbins, Sara Lee and Office Max.
Her depth and breadth of experience made her the obvious choice for head of Client Services in New York when Dennis founded U.S. International Media. As every client she’s worked with will attest, there are few people in the business who know more and can get a job done better than Ginny.
