Robyn is impatient. It’s in her nature, and it shows daily in everything from the way she does her hair to how she demands “fast/fast/fast!” results… which makes her the perfect person to head up our Direct Response department, which is dedicated to making something happen NOW!
Robyn began her advertising career at Ogilvy & Mather in New York more than 25 years ago, where she completed both their media and account training programs. Robyn was on the team that launched MTV as both a product and a medium. (Could it be that MTV’s famous “I want my MTV!” slogan was influenced by Robyn’s impatient nature!?!)
In 1991 Robyn joined Western International Media (now Initiative) as General Manager of their Minneapolis Office. Her success there handling such accounts as IKEA, National Car Rental, The University of Minnesota and Pillsbury led to her being asked to relocate to the agency’s Los Angeles headquarters in 2002, where she headed the client service team on the giant Albertson’s account as well as working with more than 20 other direct advertiser and agency clients.
Robyn is particularly passionate about her volunteer work on behalf of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. She has been a director since 1989 and founded The Partnership for a Drug-Free Minnesota in 1994.
She joined USIM in its first year, 2004.
