As our new Senior Vice President and Director of Media, Northeast, and head of the newly opened Boston, MA office, Mary Rossi returns to familiar territory with the company. Mary had worked for Western International Media Corporation (WIMC) beginning in 1997 and remained there as a Broadcast Director until 2009, when Initiative Media (formerly WIMC) closed its Boston office. Before her tenure with WIMC and Initiative, Mary had held senior broadcast positions with Houston Herstek Favat and Allied Advertising, resulting in a highly productive media career spanning two decades.
There is a proverb that success is never an accident, because it is the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning and focused effort. Mary embodies these attributes as a media professional with strong leadership, operational and client skills. She is highly noted for her problem solving capabilities and organizational, project management and rate negotiation skills. Mary earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Wheaton College and her master’s degree in Advertising/Marketing from Boston University. When not working hard for her clients, Mary is a devoted aunt to her three nephews and a niece and can often be found building things with Legos. She is an avid foodie with a passion for all things cultural, and loves a good flea market find.
