Lori literally grew up in the advertising business. Her mother was an executive with Foote, Cone and Belding in San Francisco and at age eight Lori was looking up ratings and share figures in Nielsen books.
She’s come a long way since then! After a year as an assistant at Metro Traffic Networks in Los Angeles, she joined Western International Media (now Initiative) in Account Service, where her work ethic and ability to pick up on even the most complex media issues quickly made her a standout. She advanced rapidly, taking on ever greater responsibilities managing such accounts as Ralphs grocery stores, Sav-On Drugs, Best Western Hotels, Big Lots, Intuit Inc., and the California Department of Health Services.
In early 2004, Lori signed on as a “charter member” of the U.S. International Media staff, where she took on a new challenge as the company’s primary National Broadcast Negotiator. By securing added value and creative sponsorship tactics, she has elevated several campaigns beyond just standard commercial spots and dots. In December 2006, Lori opened U.S. International Media’s San Diego office where, in addition to continuing her national buying duties, she also negotiates all of the local market broadcast media.
