Remember “WKRP in Cincinnati,” the long-running CBS comedy? The head of sales on that show (played by Frank Bonner) would frequently be told that “Bunny the Buyer” was calling, which would make him drop everything and run, anxious and panting, to the phone. That’s because there was (and still is) a real Bunny in Cincinnati, who is, without doubt, the best known and most respected broadcast buyer in town. When Bunny calls, stations listen.
Bunny brings more than 30 years’ experience to U.S. International Media’s clients. In addition to working at large regional agencies, she headed up Western International Media's (now Initiative) Cincinnati office for six years, where she supervised a staff of 12 buyers and assistants. Prior to reconnecting with Dennis Holt and her many former Western International Media colleagues at U.S. International, Bunny operated her own company, Buchanan Media.
Bunny has supervised and bought media for numerous accounts in many categories including Disney, WSTR-TV, WWHO-TV and WDKY-TV, The Home Depot, Kroger, Rhodes Furniture, the Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau, Grand Victoria Hyatt Casino and Resort, Acura, Chevrolet, Kia, the Honda dealers of Cincinnati, Wendy's, Longhorn Steak Houses, and Long John Silver’s and Cincinnati Gas and Electric.
